The LIGO-India project has kept provision for Grant-in-Aid funding support to a few extramural research projects (EMR) based on the LIGO-India Instrument science white paper. For each selected EMR project, funding will be available for up to three years or the financial sanction time-limit of the LIGO-India project, whichever is earlier. LIGO-India encourages Indian researchers, satisfying the eligibility criteria, to apply against the advertised projects and actively participate in this exciting mega-science project.
