Applications are invited from motivated and qualified candidates for a Junior Research Fellow position under an early career ANRF grant in theoretical gravitational physics.

Job Description: A successful candidate will research on the project titled “Asymptotic symmetries and cosmological memory effect in FLRW space-times” under the supervision of Dr. Sk Jahanur Hoque. Selected candidate may be permitted to register for the PhD programme of BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus subject to the fulfilment of the requirements.

Eligibility: First-class with M. Sc. in Physics with valid GATE/NET qualified candidates will be preferred. Candidates with good knowledge in General Theory of Relativity, mathematica, tensor manipulations are encouraged to apply. Age limit 28 years. 

Project position: JRF (1 position) Duration of the project: 3 years Fellowship amount: Rs. 37000/month + HRA (as per ANRF, India norms/ Institute norms)
