The webinar will bring together twelve early-career scientists working across the full gravitational-wave spectrum, from compact-object populations and pulsar timing to LISA, strong lensing and multimessenger science.

This webinar is a voluntary initiative of Commission D1, organized under the auspices of the IAU. Its aim is not only to present exciting new scientific results, but also to forge connections across continents, observatories, frequency bands and research traditions.

During the webinar, we will briefly introduce the activities of the IAU and Commission D1 and explain how early-career researchers can become IAU Junior or Individual Members and join the Commission. Membership provides an opportunity to contribute to an international scientific community, participate in Commissions and Working Groups, help identify emerging scientific priorities, develop new initiatives, and contribute to shaping future IAU Symposia and Focus Meetings.
